Olya Borovets is a New York–based filmmaker and visual storyteller originally from Ukraine. Her work explores cinematography as a tool for emotional and spatial storytelling, blending different approaches to reflect on identity, place, and human experience.

Behind every project is a deep interest in people, places, and collaboration. Olya approaches each workspace with openness, responsibility, and positive energy, believing that the best creative results come from extravagant thinking and communication.
She is currently pursuing her education in Film and Electronic Arts at Bard College, expanding her creative practice through hands-on production and critical study.
Her practice is shaped by a constant desire to learn. Whether working independently or as part of a team, she remains open-minded and adaptable.
